Dr. William T. Long, Founder

Dr. Long was born and raised in Los Angeles where he was a standout athlete at Serra High School. He was awarded the prestigious University of California Regent’s Scholarship and earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Long completed joint replacement fellowship training at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic and the University of Southern California.
Board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Long is an active member of numerous national hip and knee replacement societies. He is also an educator who teaches orthopedic surgeons at universities and international symposiums around the globe.
Dr. Long and his team have performed free hip and knee replacement operations for patients in the U.S. and around the world as part of Operation Walk. In his free time, Dr. Long mentors medical students and shares his knowledge of and passion for sprinting and long jumping with student athletes. He is a World Masters Track and Field Champion in the long jump and continues to compete when time permits.
